Have been going to Toronto for something like 5 years and usually eat here at least twice a trip. Food is very reasonable considering comparables, i.e. a famous hot dog place that also does corned beef/pastrami and where a lunch of a sandwich, very small (albeit yummy) potato salad and a large drink cost over $20 w/tax/tip. We go here, have my sandwich and drink, my girl has a pizza or a whatever and a Caesar. That usually runs $31-33 with tax/tip. When ordering from the delightful desert stand, it pushes your bill a considerable amount but is well worth the price! We have always found the staff extremely friendly and service to be excellent, even when the restaurant is incredibly busy. Read more
