Everything about this meal was fantastic! The service was polite and fast, and our water glasses were never empty for long. The antijitos were the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Everyone I went with was happy with their meal. A couple of people got the whoppie burger and really liked it, and fajitas was the special (which one person got and it looked great). Definitely try this little gem out sometime!

Frank's bacon is the best bacon you'll ever have. The atmosphere is a big jovial family. The diner hasn't been updated in 50 years, so it's a major throw back, but it's clean and you can tell that the owners love the place.
The breakfast for $5.95 has three awesome eggs, awesome bacon, home fries and hot buttered toast. SO GOOD!!!

A Kitchener standby on Highland Road ... very busy all the time ... usually a 5-10 min wait ... but worth it ... the Asian lady who owns or runs the franchise has been there for at least 8 years and keeps things moving ... food always great ... for a down easterner (Halifax) ... it's always nice every now and then to have a feed of fish 'n chips (haddock every time) ... love the unlimited fries ... just wish the cole slaw side was larger ... that being said great food ... For what it is, a overelaborite pita pit is it amazing. Food is amazing , the staff is very nice and you get alot of food. Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without.
Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry.
I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Their chicken korma is also delicious.

Upon discovering this place, I have been at least once a week either for a pot of tea, a quick lunch or a dinner with my partner. The atmosphere is relaxed and not rushed - the dining room is relatively small so service is able to see when you are in need of anything. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and so full of flavor! Sometimes restaurants will just give you the meat version without the meat and that will be their vegetarian options but here you get treated to refined and practiced vegetarian dishes. Their teas some in a glass, clear tea pot and are always presented so nicely so it is an entire experience really.
