I was very surprised to find such excellent quality Japanese food in a small town like this. They have a large menu that even includes a fair number of dishes for vegetarians. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in BC. The quality of the food is very good and therefore the taste is delicious. The same quality restaurant would demand a premium price in Vancouver, so the dishes are an excellent value. Presentation of the food is very nice and the chef obviously takes pride in his work. I inquired and the kitchen chef and the sushi chef are both Japanese. The flavour combinations in the rolls were harmonious and supremely delightful. The restaurant is not crowded with tourists and the staff said that not many tourists make their way there. Obviously a hidden gem and now my new favourite. Read more

Went for lunch here - food was really good. Reasonably priced. Great coffee selection. The atmosphere was great, unique set up in an old house just off the main street in Revelstoke. The pizza here is beyond amazing, and I'm not stating this lightly. I can honestly say that it is the best I have ever had. The special in-house dip that they have available, made of oil and honey, may seem a bit strange at first, but I promise you, it is an unexpectedly perfect combination with the pizza, or the garlic cheese fingers.
