Most staff very interactive, friendly, helpful. owner not so much. I have worked in retail for many years and the ability to interact with the customer is utmost importance. I find stock is out a lot YES sometimes it is shorted. But I have noticed other stores are not. I enjoy the friendly interaction with the cashiers. PS it is the staff that makes a business great.

I am curious as to why it is only a 4.2 review. I have been treated like no other place. So nice and friendly. When I walked in, I must have looked confused, because they took me around and showed me where the items I wanted were. I have never tasted such deliciousness. If I am in the area, this is my first stop. In fact, we drive from Markham and are leaving to go again today :)

Buy lunch here after doctors appointments and the chicken pot pie is the best I've ever had. Meat just falls apart it's so tender and sauce, pastry and vegetables are wonderful. This place is by far the BEST Restaurant I've ever eaten in!!! and here's why;
1- Unless your extremely hungry, the home cooked portions are so big, you can barely finish, so in most cases there's left overs for the next day.
2- No one in the city comes close to giving you that much food for that price, because no one has this kind of turnover!
3- Everything , even the bacon bits are real, nothing is from a can, the soups are home receipies, and the place is so busy that the food can be any fresher!
4- The servers might be a little on the old side, but you still get your meal faster than any other restaurant I ve ever been to!
5- The seats are real leather, ive seen them watering the plants, and you can custom tailor every part of your meal to suit even the pickiest of eaters.
NOTE they've been in business for over 40 YEARS !

Fantastic food and service. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Steaks were huge and done to perfection. Chicken fingers were homemade, yummy. The best we ever had. The potatoes in the chicken souvlaki were priceless. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try all the other menu items. I heard the chicken wings were to die for and they are half price on Wednesdays!

This was our second visit and it was better than the first. We arrived after the dinner rush so the volume level was good. Great food and service. We'll definitely be back again. The lighting seemed to be improved upon since our first visit 2 years ago. Will have to try out the new Richmond Hill location also.
