For special occasions, my family always goes to Candies of Merritt. It's a family-run business that sells the best chocolate in Guelph. I'm especially fond of their maple chocolates. They also make superb fudge and create special flavours for holidays. Read more

I would highly recommend this store as it has friendly, knowledgable staff, and it supports local artists as well as international fair trade companies. Kultrun Market sells all kinds of unique products (wonderfully scented soaps, delicious chocolates, comfy beautiful clothing, unique and high end jewelry, art, purses, spices, baskets, YOU NAME IT) and it's all fair trade or direct trade.
