Maitreya's store is quite different from your average antique shop in that it offers a more carefully selected range of items, each with a very unique history and flair. It is absolutely worth a visit, even if it's just to immerse yourself in the beauty of these objects. The owners were very knowledgeable and quite relaxed, very openly answering any questions that we had. I've shopped around for antiques quite a bit in Vancouver, and frankly this shop is the real deal. Read more
