Visited for lunch on Sept.15th 2010. The atmosphere is very nice in this restaurant, and the service was fast and friendly (thank you Lynn). Our meal choices appeared on our table in a timely manner and the food was delicious. Two thumbs up for Fiddleheads. If we are ever back in Perth, we will definitely visit this restaurant again. I've been going to Peter's since I was in high school in the late 80's and it's always great. The service is excellent and it's nice to have a restaurant where you can get regular diner food like hot dogs, grilled cheese and fries and gravy (and their chocolate milkshakes are wonderful, too). The serving staff is nice and friendly and a lot of them have been there for many, many years so I think Peter's must be as good to their staff as they are to their customers. Peter owned the restaurant for a long time, but retired a couple of years ago and the food has remained constant. Peter's is a great place to eat if you're looking for family-friendly diner-style cuisine. Read more

We were driving from Toronto to Ottawa with with two kids and making stops every few hours (Madoc is two hours outside of Ottawa). We hit the ice cream place next door on the way to Ottawa. On the way back we stopped for lunch. Great fried chicken and club house sandwich. Great price. Read more
