My husband and I were recently at the Mill Cafe for lunch with a few friends from out of town. We have been local to the area, but had not been in since the restaurant was renovated. The decor was delightful and vibrant, with unique artwork covering the walls. We were pleasantly greeted by our server who encouraged us to sit wherever we pleased. The menu was fun and fresh and we found it extremely difficult to have to choose from all the delicious items. Our lunch arrived very quickly, and we were more and more pleased with every bite. I dont understand the previous negative reviews...? I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad. I stopped into Boston Pizza on a Thursday night drawn in by their board out front advertising $0.50 wings in the bar. Unlike most wing-deals these wings were very meaty and a good size. Everyone in my group was also very impressed with the service and couldn't help but notice how good looking, lively and knowledgable the staff was. Compared to the BP's that I'm used to going to in the city, this small town restaurant was VERY impressive. The staff does a good job promoting the different food/drink specials that are going on every day of the week (wings tuesday and thursday and cheap domestic beer monday night etc.). Read more

Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did.
