My husband , myself and my mother inlaw were on our way from New Brunswick to Ontario. During a snow storm ( March 4th 2023) the owner G was amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The coffee is so so good! The customer service and hospitality we received here will be something we all talk and rave about forever! Even the customers were delightful! We left full and happy! Even got some homemade banana bread for the ride with a top up to our coffee.

After a long drive from Hamilton I was ready to eat anything, and this was in sight from where I had to go. As soon as my business was done I headed in, not realising that it was already 9:15 and they close at 9:30 on a Monday. After I had filled my first plate the hostess informed me of the closing time, but she said that I was welcome to fill up as many plates as I liked and eat at my leisure while they packed up. So I did, and washed them down with a Tsing Tao. I found the food to be the equal of other buffets I have visited, just wish I could have had more time, but that wasn't their fault.

We (myself and my daughters) stopped by on route from the Ottawa to home (Hamilton) on Sunday August 8th to order take out. Our family has stopped at the Gateway Restaurant for decades to enjoy their always delicious family style meals. We ordered club sandwich platters and a BLT platter- sooooo delicious as always. Idk what these bad reviews are all on about, I personally loved the pizza here and used to come all the time in highschool because I went to holy cross so it wasn’t far. At this Tony’s they don’t cheap you on the toppings plus the pizza just tastes good in general, I recommend you try it for yourself.

I have travelled quite extensively across Canada and the U.S. and they serve the BEST here.. Large portions [dont order two pieces of fish as one is enough] Very unfair to get a 1 star rating because the fellow wants more salt on his order..
I have been coming here for over 20 years and I guarantee that you will never find better.... I live 67 km away, but go out of my way to come here….

At first I wasn't sure about this place but after my first visit I was sold. The food is amazing, the sushi is so fresh and the waitresses are so nice. They are always smiling and are quick on their jobs. You're never waiting for refills of drinks or to order. When we leave even the sushi chefs say goodbye, that's how polite and relaxed this place is. I love it.
