Amazing experience. they accomodated us with our infant, took our stroller in the coat check, and made sure my allergies were attended to. They checked about 6 times to make sure I was ok and no item which I was allergic to didn't make it to my plate. They gave us a full banquette because we had our son with us. As you wander along Robson Street this is a popular Japanese restaurant that has been here for awhile. Reservations highly recommended. The assorted tempera was excellent, nicely battered, and we tried various appetizers such as gomae, liver, fried fish, clam soup, edaname, tofu, Saba shiroyaki, salmon belly. We ordered various sushi which was lovely plated and tasted pretty good and fresh. Also, Negitoro roll, and a few nigiri items. The service was excellent.

If I had to describe this place, I would say sushi fusion. They always add an interesting twist to your sushi. Some tips on rolls to try - the Sexy Mindy Roll, the Cherry Blossom and the Las Vegas Roll. Sometimes when you eat in the owner comes around and talks to you , which is nice as well. The decor is pretty cool. And I have to say, they have the best green tea I have ever had. If you get take-out too they are always quick to get it ready for you. The staff is great too, very friendly. Overall, a really good sushi experience in the 'burbs!
