Extremely disappointing service. On Aug 22, Tech diagnosed problem with Maytag dryer as requiring new main board, cost $400. Advised board to arrive in 2-3 business days. It arrived 7 weeks later. October 11 tech to replace board, but upon another check of dryer as requested by owner, determined problem was actually a $15 fuse, not the costly main board. Almost had decided to purchase new $900 dryer, unaware problem was a $15 part. Tried to contact VC manager to relate concerns. No return call.
I have used ValleyCentral 3 times. The serviceman, Corny, is knowledgeable, and meticulous. They are prompt and have reasonable rates, I highly recommend them.
Had a warranty service call on a newer LG refrigerator. Corney, the service tech, arrived at the scheduled time and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. A vibrating noise was fixed after pulling out the refrigerator, removing a rear panel and adding some adhesive foam to the offending parts. Corney was efficient, friendly and considerate in supplying a rigid sheet to protect the cork flooring in the kitchen. We would have Corney do any and all service on any of our appliances. Robert
